Genesis Hair & Day Spa began as a true family business, founded by a brother and sister with a simple vision to create a salon that felt warm, welcoming and personal. In November 2023, sisters Tania Fanson and Sarah Schuppener took over the business, proud to continue everything their mom and uncle originally built. That sense of care, connection and community remains at the heart of everything we do.
Tania’s journey reflects that story perfectly. She started out as the salon’s very first apprentice and has grown alongside the business over the years. Today, she plays a key role in supporting and mentoring the next generation, helping new apprentices and trainees develop their skills and confidence. It’s a full-circle moment that speaks to the kind of environment Genesis has always been built on, where people are supported, encouraged and given the space to grow.
Today, Genesis Hair & Day Spa has grown into a luxury salon and spa, welcoming clients from the surrounding area and beyond. Our team is made up of individuals who bring both skill and personality to what they do, along with a genuine passion for the industry. Walk-ins are always welcome at Genesis, our doors are open for new and existing customers. We’ll do our best to accommodate you based on team availability. For services like color, head spa, microblading, or lash extensions, we recommend booking in advance to make sure we have the right time and the right specialist ready for you.
For services like microblading, lash extensions, and piercings, we recommend a consultation before your first appointment so we can assess your goals, answer your questions, and make sure everything is set up for the best possible result. For color and blonding services, a consultation is strongly recommended for first-time guests or major transformations. Reach out and we’ll help you figure out the right first step.
Microblading, Lash Extensions, and Full Keratin Treatment
A deposit and card on file is required. The deposit is refundable up until two weeks before the scheduled reservation. The deposit is nonrefundable less than 2 weeks before the reservation. The deposit will be applied towards your balance due after the service is performed. Rescheduled appointments 2 weeks or sooner, the deposit will remain on file to be used for the rescheduled service. If no-showed, canceled, or rescheduled less than 48 business hours before appointment or arriving 15 minutes late (reservation canceled), your deposit will be forfeit and a 50% charge of the service price will be made with the card on file. A new deposit will be required to reschedule.
Full Keratin Treatment Deposit: $75.
Microblading Full Application Deposit: $100.
Lash Extensions Full Application Deposit: $50.
Absolutely. We’re a family-friendly salon and spa and we love welcoming guests of all ages. From kids’ haircuts to spa days, there’s something for everyone at Genesis.
Please give us more than 24 business hours notice for cancelling, rescheduling, or significantly modifying your reservation. An example of significantly modifying is cancelling a color service, but keeping the haircut. A charge of 50% of the scheduled service will be applied for notice within 24 business hours of your reservation. Monday reservations notices must be before we close on Saturdays because we are closed on Sundays. Exceptions to our cancellation policy are at our sole discretion.
We require a card on file for all reservations. Your card data is protected.
Reservations that are missed without notice will be charged 100% of the cost of the scheduled service. Monday reservations notices must be before we close on Saturdays because we are closed on Sundays. Exceptions to our cancellation policy are at our sole discretion.
Arriving 15 minutes late or longer is considered a no-notice cancellation as the service provider can’t guarantee enough time to complete the service or services.
